Presents to the Passed

Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) ceremonies were held in Downtown L.A. on Olvera Street and in Grand Park from Oct. 24 to Nov. 2 to commemorate the passings of loved ones.

Families that took part in the traditional festivities dressed up in Mexican Calavera makeup and masks. Flowers, such as Mexican Marigold, adorned the women while altars were laid out with ofrenda (offerings) displaying personal gifts to their loved ones as they wait to celebrate with fallen spirits.
