The Valley Monarchs football team glided past the Compton Tartars last week 57-10 in a game that showcased the team’s depth of talent.

Valley’s starting quarterback Collyn Anderson led the offense throwing  9-11 for 211 yards and four touchdowns. Anderson connected with Valley receiver Jamauri Burgess for 99 yards and two of his four touchdowns. Valley had 643 yards total offense.

Valley’s defense completely shut down the Compton offense holding them to only 215 total yards and one touchdown. Compton was only able to score a touchdown due to a botched punt return by Valley in the third quarter.

Come out to support our team this Saturday as Valley hosts the hungry 0-2 Mt. San Jacinto Eagles Saturday at 7:00 pm.
